He Cares!

"The ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them three days' journey, to seek out a resting place for them.

"My times are in your hand.—He chose our heritage for us.—Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness; . . . make your way straight before me.—Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.—In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.—Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.—As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.—“The Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.”—Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."

Follow His example

"Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.

“Even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve.”—“Whoever would be first among you must be slave of all.”

"Jesus of Nazareth . . . went about doing good.—Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

"The meekness and gentleness of Christ.—In humility count others more significant than yourselves.

“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”—Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

"Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.—Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."

He hears me

"In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

"I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.—“And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.”—The Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

"I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling.—Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.
