I met my husband while I was a missionary in Hong Kong. He had swum out of China after the Cultural Revolution. We have been married 32 years and have four children (2 biological and 2 adopted), ages 22-30. My mother also lives with us (she just turned 90). I am truly a blessed woman.

Truth

Lead me in your truth and teach me.

“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth.”—You have been anointed by the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.

To the teaching and to the testimony! If they will not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn.—All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.—The sacred writings . . . are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.—“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.”—“If anyone's will is to do God's will, he will know whether the teaching is from God.”—It shall belong to those who walk on the way; even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.
